ABOUT ME

I have lived in the Margaret River Region for most of my life, a small coastal town in the South West of Western Australia. A beautiful part of the world where I have been able to draw inspiration from the natural environment surrounding me.

I am a Stone Mason by trade and have been working with stone for the past 15 years, I have my own business but also work in conjunction with my father and brother. I bring the elements of stone work into my other forms of art work which include; painting, phtography and sculptures.

Diversity is my friend and energy continuously trying to distill chaos into order, this seems to be mostly what my life is about, from thoughts, imagination, creativity and to my work as a stone mason or looking for that perfect photo!

Other than my work I also enjoy surfing, which I have been doing since I was a young boy and of course living in Margaret River ( a sea lovers paradise) it's impossible to not be inspired by the ocean and it's many forms. I am a karate instructor and have been practicing karate for over 20 years, I also enjoy all aspects of natural body work and yoga.

I am a keen Naturaliste and very interested in preserving and protecting this beautiful environment in which I live. It is integral to my artwork, for drawing inspiration from the forest, river, beaches and flora and fauna in this ecologicaly diverse region which is my home and my first "true love".
