The shelter is modelled on the mirabilis shell spiral used as a template for creating the outer form. This shell-like form also merges with reference to the wavesand the ocean. This correlation of waves and the breakdown of shells that formed the limestone have been formed on top of the granite substrate. It is a space for reflection and to develop an emotional connection to the environment and adjoining landscape, highlighting the geomorphological processes that have formed the coastline.
