Wave Wall – 2004
The “Wave Wall” intersects two iconic coastal attractions, the “River Mouth” and “Mainbreak”. It symbolises a place of community, where many seek to connect, conquer and achievetheir surfing nirvana, or just soak up the natural beauty of the region.
A fluid form inspired by the ocean, this bold piece marks the entry to Surfers Point. This piece explored the concept of canter leaver stones protruding in three directions to form the curves of a wave or perhaps the bow of a boat.
